This is one of the main problem nowadays teenagers are facing. There are certain things you should know.

-Clean, Massage (with a warm oil) and steam your hair.Don't let the hair too dry by exposing to certain chemicals like dye, bleach, hair spray etc..

-Try not to go out with open hair /strong breeze. Use an Umbrella or a hat when you go out.

-Do not comb/rub/pull hair vigorously.

Home remedies:
1) Mix yellow part of 1 egg, 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp mustard/olive oil and massage the root and wash after 1 hr.

2) Mix 1 tsp mustard oil, 1 cup tea extract, 1 egg yellow and juice of lemon in henna (mehendi) powder. Wash after one hour.

Diet:

* A nutritious diet is alsoa must for split ends.  Add food contains vitamins A, B and D, proteins and calcium in your diet. Milk, curd, cheese, grains, Soya beans, fruits, green-salads and green leafy vegetables, meat, fish, egg are excellent sources of these.
* Drink a lot or water.
*Trim the split ends at regular intervals.

Brush your hair before going to bed. This will activate the oil-glands to produce oil
