Heartburn (acid indigestion) is common during pregnancy..
Relieve heartburn by avoiding these
- Avoid fried, spicy foods and caffeine drinks such as coffee,tea, cola..
- Avoid big meals. Eat several small meals throughout the day instead.
- Don't rush through meals. Eat slowly and chew thoroughly.
- Drink most of your fluids between meals, rather than with them.
- Avoid eating and drinking right before bed.
- After a meal go on a walk, or do a light physical activity. Don't lie down immediately.
- Wear loose fitting clothes.
