Understand the Basics rule:

- eat more fruit, veg and whole grains
- cut back on salt and sugar
- opt for low-fat dairy products
- watch portion sizes
- go for fresh, natural, unprocessed foods; eat fewer fried and fatty foods
- have fish twice a week (including one serving of oily fish like salmon, mackerel or fresh tuna)
- don't drink more than 3-4 units of alcohol in a day

1. Set small, realistic goals. If you have a lot of weight to lose, try for 5 pounds, relax a bit and then go for 5 more.

Tips:-
Drink Plenty of water
Do Exercise Regularly
Stay away from foods that are difficult to digest like Steamed Food etc.

Belly fat is a problem for most of the people the tips i want to suggest for this purpose is to have sleep proper of 7 hours. Dont stress yourself and in your food take lots of whole foods like whole wheat pasta,whole wheat rice and with it drink plenty of water.
