I am 30 year old,did my cholesterol test,it shows 240(total cholesterol) and my LDL is very high 186..I am very much concerned about this.when i go out i eat a lot of foods,non veg items and junk foods,mostly non veg items such as chicken ,mutton etc..I am 5'4 and my weight is 70kg.should i take medicine?or just to control consuming foods??How can i increase my HDL cholesterol?Is there any multivitamin or supplements?What are the preventive measures should i take?I am worried that the Heart disease is very common on my parents family side.I am getting older too,haven't married yet..What are the preventive measures to reduce the cholesterol level?Has anyone have any idea?please help me.
