I don't think eating less sugar makes you fat. But high intake of sugar may increase the chance of having Obesity.
So try to reduce the intake of sugar in your daily diet.

I do not think so. There is no fat in sugarcane and no any such thing is use in sugar process. Then how it is possible that sugar cause fat. But the high usage of sugar is cause the diabetes so do not take a high quantity of sugar in diet.

Sugar is absorbed quickly in the body and causes a rapid increase in glucose levels.
Refined sugar contains no vitamins or minerals; thereby, it has absolutely no nutritional value.
Consumption of sugar depletes overall nutrient intake such as calcium,magnesium,vitamin D,phosphorous,zinc etc
and these are essential for the human body for maintaining strong bones.Recent study shows that  osteoporosis development
can also happen due to the consumption of refined white sugar.

Yes sugar cause for fat but in the market their are so many options are available for it you can prefer them...

Hello,
I also think sugar increases fat in our body because when we eat sugar, it causes a neurotrasmitter response that makes us feel and which often comes with too much fat and cause to gain weight. Other cause to put on weight is junk food that has much fat and reason for obesity.
