Health benefits of Bitter-Gourd

In Asian countries Bitter-gourd is used as a natural remedy for treating diabetes.It contains 'charantin' which reduces the high blood sugar level.It contains a good source of fiber,vitamin C,zinc,potassium,calcium,phosphorous and minerals.Its Bitter gourd juice is also used to treat skin problems,digestive problems,blood purification,boost immunity and helps prevent breast cancer.
Bitter-gourd extract with 2 tsp od lemon juice taken on empty stomach is good for skin health,liver problems and general health.

NB:Pregnant women is not advised to take this it may cause miscarriages.
