* Rest in a quiet room and get enough sleep.
* Massage the muscles at the back of neck and shoulder in a gentle circular motion with some oil.
* Fill a hot-water bottle, wrap it in a towel, and rest your head on it.
* Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine in excess, and smoking.
* Avoid Spices, sauce, sour buttermilk, red meat, nuts, chocolate and oily foodstuffs.
* Boiling fresh ginger or dried ginger powder in water and then inhaling the steam is also effective.
* Have your eyesight checked.
