My son would be happy eating chocolates, soft drinks, ice cream, frooty some time very rarely burger or batura for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.most of the time he wont eat much.his weight is very low compare to other same age children.we will try our level best to make him eat,but no use.He is very lean to.i am very much confused about him. Kids are usually slow to eat food and try different tastes and textures.so you have to try atleast 10 times before they used to,and encourage them to try.
You should not cook special food for your picky eater child and tell him that he can have a cookie/chocolate if he finishes the food you have given. And remember never encourage your child to have soft drinks and those snacks all the time.you can give as a reward for some time if he has done with that. For a change you can go for an outing and have food in the open air ,that will be different for him.If not let him hungry for some time, don't worry he will come and eat himself without forcing.
