Carrots are good for eyes?

Yes. But, not to the extent that we think. Better sources of nutrients for vision are Eggs, Mangoes, Papaya, Fish (not fried), Spinach and Milk.
In fact, excess of vitamin A is harmful for the liver.
And if a smoker takes Vitamin A, the chances for Lung Cancer are greater!

I also heard that carrot is good for eyes because it increases the blood circulation to the head...

Yes, Carrot contains beta-carotene, substance that the body converts to vitamin A, an important nutrient for eye.
