How can i teach discipline?

My 3 year old child has been hitting, biting,pushing/pulling or throwing food/toys, on other children in his playschool.The teachers and other parents are complaining me about his behavior.He won't sleep in his sleep hours and won't sit and eat his breakfast/lunch/dinner time.mixing foods in water..i don't know what to do..i am confused about his behavior..I hope someone can help me to find a solution..

Yes these behaviors are unacceptable for others.Child who has been hitting biting,throwing food/toys has to follow effective timeout punishments and you should told them that these behaviors are unacceptable and should taken to a designated timeout area,longer timeouts are not effective for toddlers..And don't forget kids learn by watching parents so be a role model to your kids.and don't slap your kids they will only feel the pain.Age 3 to 5 begins to understand what you teach and you can communicate what you are expecting from him.You can try to explain the actions and consequences connected to his behavior before you punish him.And don't forget to praise /reward his good behaviors.
