Tips to stay away from cold and cough..

If your child has cold /cough try these tips(home remedies) to get relief and prevent and enjoy a healthy life..

*If your child has a cold, pomegranate juice mixed with a pinch of ginger powder and pepper is quite effective.
*Take some eucalyptus and mint leaves and boil them in water,inhale its vapors.It will help curing cough.A few drops of eucalyptus oil to the bath water can relieve you from a runny nose.
*Gargling with warm salt water is an excellent home remedy for cold and sore throat.
*If you have a severe and chronic cough, crush 2-3 garlic and some cloves,add this to a glass of hot milk or water.Filter this and add a little sugar and drink twice a day for about a week.
*Honey when taken with black pepper, will loosen the mucus and make you spit the mucus.
*2 Tablespoons of Honey in a cup of Orange Juice/pineapple juice is a great remedy to treat your cough
*Take Tulsi (5 ml) and mix it with pure honey(10 ml),consume this twice a day and you will be relieved from your cough
*Drinking hot water for the days when you are suffering from cold helps you to overcome running nose.
*Ginger tea is one of the best and popular home remedy for cold. Boil ginger into water before boiling tea leaves.
*Almonds are useful for dry coughs.Soak overnight and remove the brown skin,make a paste,mix with 20gm of butter/ghee and sugar,twice a day.
*Gargling with warm salt water is an excellent home remedy for cold and sore throat.
*Add more Vitamin- C rich fruits to keep cold away.
*Make a paste of ginger, clove and salt.Half spoon twice a day
*Following a healthy diet including fruits and vegetables,exercise and 7 hours of sleep daily,make body away from germs.
