Pneumonia is a lung infection(especially affecting the air sacs, alveoli) caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites , that can make you very sick.

Treatment:
Treatment depends on the cause, symptoms and your age and health.
-Bacterial Pneumonias are treated with antibiotics, Viral are treated with rest &plenty of fluids and Fungal are treated with antifungal edications.
-Vaccination is effective for preventing certain bacterial and viral pneumonias in both children and adults.The doctor may prescribe appropriate vaccination after diagnosing you.
-Getting an annual flu shot good to prevent pneumonia, flu,colds,measles or chickenpox often leads to pneumonia.
-Wash your hands frequently, this helps to prevent the spread of disease causing bacteria.
