Otitis media (Ear Infection)

Otitis media (Ear Infection) is the inflammation in the middle ear which occurs mostly in children.It causes fluid buildup in the middle ear and the
middle ear pus causes pain and temporary hearing loss. Usually cold or viral respiratory infection can lead to ear infection.
Bottle feeding can also increase the risk of infection in babies. It can be treated with antibiotics and ear tubes..
Pneumococcal conjugate vaccines when given during infancy decrease rates of acute otitis media in children.

Symptoms are:
High Fever,Discharge from the ear, Ache in the middle ear, Vomiting, Diahrrea, Irritability, feeding problem in young children.

ya my son will get ear infection atleast once in a month..really i am fed up of this..thanks for the post..keep posting... :)
