Cervical cancer is a cancer that forms in the cervix,lower part of the uterus.It is usually caused by Human papilloma virus(HPV) infection.It is a slow growing cancer usually do not show any symptoms at precancerous stage.It can be detected by pap smear test and co
Causes:
Usually it is caused by Human papilloma virus and is spread through sexual intercourse by having sex at an early age, multiple sexual partners, high-risk sexual activities.

Risk factors are weak immune system, poor economy,not getting HPV vaccine.

Symptoms:
Most of the time,  Patients with cervical cancer usually do not have problems until the cancer is advanced
         -Abnormal vaginal bleeding
         -Continuous vaginal discharge, which may be pale, watery, pink, brown, bloody, or foul-smelling
         -Heavy/long periods
Symptoms of advanced stage are Pelvic pain, Fatigue, Back/bone pain,Leaking of urine or feces, Loss of appetite,

However, cervical cancer has no symptoms at all. although when symptoms are present, they usually don't show until the cancer is more advanced. This does vary from woman to woman.Vaginal discharge, bleeding  or pain during intercourse is also be a sign. Most of the symptoms go unnoticed because they think ,it may be due to Ovulation or PMS(Pre menstrual syndrome).
